Zhejiang made the perfect start as they went in front after seven minutes thanks to the brilliance of Cheng Jin who dribbled away from Issac Honny before delivering an inch-perfect cross for Franko Andrijasevic to finish.
The early goal made it a frantic open game with neither side having total control, leading to further attempts from Jean Kouassi and Andrijasevic for the home side while Peeradol Chamrasamee forced Zhejiang keeper Zhao Bo into making a save.

Port interim head coach Choketawee Promrut sensed the game was slipping away from his side and opted to make a change in the 22nd minute with attacker Felipe Amorim replacing midfielder Tanaboon Kesarat.
However, it was Zhejiang who continued to create chances with Koussi dribbling past keeper Worawut Srisupa, only to have Honny clear his shot away before Asnawi Mangkualam made a superb recovery challenge to deny Wu Wei.

Port got themselves back on level pegging 10 minutes into the second half after Teerasak Poeiphimai threaded a perfect through ball for Lonsana Doumbouya, who fended off Wang Yang before slotting past Zhao.
An immediate response was nearly provided by Zhejiang but Asnawi once again showed clever positioning to stop shots from Kouassi and Sun Guowen.

Port went on to take the points when Felipe latched on to Frans Putros’ through ball to curl a low shot past Zhao to take Port up to top of the table.
Port can seal their knockout stage berth with a win against Indonesia’s Persib Bandung on November 28 while Zhejiang will have little room for error when they entertain Sailors.
